ALS United Orange County is the central source for services and education for people with ALS, their families, caregivers, and health care professionals in Orange County, Norco and Corona, CA.
The progression of ALS varies significantly from one person to another. Responding to each person's individual needs, ALS United Orange County is available to provide vital services and reliable information through strategic community partnerships.

Home Visits and Case Management
Our professional staff specializes in ALS care. We visit with patients and caregivers in their homes, offer practical ideas for sustaining their quality of life, and provide information on insurance and healthcare benefits.

Support Groups
ALS United Orange County currently has two general support group held monthly. These support groups are open to PALS (persons with ALS), their families, caregivers and friends.
Equipment Loan Program
ALS United Orange County maintains a loan program that consists primarily of used and donated equipment. There is no charge for the loan of equipment.
Augmentative Communication Loan Program
ALS United Orange County's Augmentative Communication Loan Program offers communication devices for loan to individuals without insurance coverage or who are awaiting insurance approval.
Professional In-Service Presentations
The Patient Services Department is actively involved in the education of community healthcare professionals on issues of clinical management of ALS. To request an in-service presentation call/text 714-285-1088 or email info@alsuoc.org.
Resources for Caregivers
We provide family caregiver-focused support groups, Care Connections guidance, and referrals.
Transportation Program
ALS United Orange County provides $75 transportation vouchers each way to ALS patients to and from medical appointments. If you need a voucher, please fill out the form below. Questions? Email info@alsuoc.org or call/text 714-285-1088. Transportation requests require a minimum of 48 business hours to process. Rides within Orange County only.
